Sai Baba temple receives 14.54 crore in donations: everything you should know

 

 

Sai had a large number of followers during his time, but the number of Sai Baba devotees has only grown over time. Sai's love knows no bounds, and donations for the famous Shirdi Sai temple have reached an all-time high in just 11 days.

The Shirdi temple has received donations totalling over 14.54 crore rupees from Sai's followers. According to Mr Chandra Shekhar Kadam, vice-chairman of the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, donation boxes in the temple itself have received 8.05 crore. Aside from these, the Shirdi Sai Baba temple trust received 3.63 crores from devotee passes and online darshan services.

Additionally, he lived in “Dwarkamai” a run-down mosque and survived on donations made by the inhabitants of Shirdi.

Sai had abandoned the desires that the majority of people had. He lived in a run-down mosque and survived on "bhiksha" (donations) from Shirdi residents. Someone unfamiliar with Sai's work will be perplexed, wondering why he became famous. Sai did not just preach about being a good person; he also helped his followers who were in despair and needed his assistance. From performing miracles to directing people on the right path in life. Anyone who knew the real Sai Baba could not resist the peace that Sai's presence brought.

 

How did Sai Baba help Shirdi and society as a whole? 

According to his followers, Sai gave them a reason to be good people in a world where everyone was only concerned with becoming rich and successful.
